Tent troubles: He said.

Hey guys. Aidan here. Fun day. Late night.
11:11. Making the wish. The wish I always make around this time. Can you guess it?

I'll go into this in detail. When cognition kicks back in.
Check back in the morning. This'll be longer. Promise.
:)

When I see your eyes, your smile, I sprout wings. My heart soars. It is then I know I have seen the true face of beauty.

Hey! It's Regan. Just an FYI post. Our picture is up. Its not of our faces because...it's not...xD but it does show the size differences between Aidan and myself. Taken in my backyard... :D The quote is from a song by we the kings.

A chilly day: He said

Aidan again. Haha, you guys must be sick of us by now.

Anywho, like she said, today was...new? Well, I got to see her in a swimsuit. So right away, 'twas bound to be a day to remember. As fantastic as the time from when I arrived to her house til when I left, figuring all the details was anything but.

5:20 A.M.
Due to an...interesting night, we start talking to each other. Some things are said, but in the end, it's all okay.

6:20 A.M.
Everything ends well, she falls asleep, I decide to wake up for the day. As per her morning work schedule, I promise to wake her in a little over an hour.

7:45 A.M.
Right on cue, I call. She quietly answers with a sleepy hello, and prepares for the day. I know I'd miss her whilst she is gone, but it'll be worth it for tonight. I mix cereal with sugar and strawberries (culinary skills? no way!), and relax as I try to figure out how the day will work out.
But, as is expected (you'll soon learn this about me), I quickly become tired and take a...3 hour nap? Fun stuff. :P

1:00 P.M.
BAM! First obstruction to our beautiful plan of time together. Flute lessons. At two. ;alksjdf;lkajsd;flkj.

BAM BAM! Second obstruction. I come to a horrid revalation. I have a drum rehearsal tonight. 7-9:30. Again I say with increasing frustration:
;lakjsd;flkjas;dlkfja;lskdjf;laksjdfl;kjasdf.

With a defeated heart and sad eyes, I try to figure out what to do; try to hold on to any possible hope of tonight.
Then. An angellic text:
Flute lessons cancelled. Christina's ill.
Boom-KaSCHREECH
My heart stops. Really possible? Could it be? I hurridly call, plan it out, call James with an over-excited tone, change as fast as I can, and approach the door with butterflies in the stomache at the very tangible chance of seeing her beauty.

Ring Ring.....Ring Ring
Aidan? What's today?
...The day after memorial day?
Yeah......bad news.
........ ?
Pool opens at four.
*click*

Come on. Really? Another threat? Argh. I felt beyond horrible.

Ring Ring....Ri-
Hello?
Hello love...pool opens at four.
Are you EFFING me?
Afraid not...
:LKASDJF:LKAJDF!
*click*

Ring-
...Yeah?
Hey babe! Just come over here til four! Sound good?
*runs to get ready*

1:30 P.M.
Everything is finally perfect. From the moment I feel her tingly kiss, I know the day is really going to take off.
Time to really see who's better at chess?
OKAY!!
We nearly finished. (Note to all readers out there: it is exponentially more difficult to finish a chess game whilst the partner is more...light-hearted than normal. Including, but not limited to, knocking over the chess pieces every thirty seconds)

4:00 P.M.
Guys! Four o'clock!
Woah! Really?

4:10 P.M.
At the pool! Definitely all that I'd thought it'd be. As stated so lovingly by Regan, there was a group of...less than appreciative girls sharing the pool. But I only noticed this once. As was so blatantly obvious, the rest of the time my eyes were glued on her.

5:35 P.M.
Guys! Look at the time.
Crap!!
*run home hurridly*

And....well, the rest is easily guessed. Basically, I run home with her, plead my mother to pick me up, and head to my drumline rehearsal.

Another day in fair Verona!
Her smile is my light in this dark called Life.
-With everything I have, Aidan.

A chilly day: She said

Its Regan, here! Aidan and I had an...intresting...day today. Due to myself, and a mistake I made, I woke a 5 to a text from Aidan. From there we talked until about 6:20, at which he let/made me go back to sleep, and woke me back up at 7:45 to go to work. Let me just say...waking up to his voice...there's nothing better...
Well. Anyhow. We were planning to see each other tonight, but it ends up that Aidan had a drumline rehearsal. By an odd change of events, I was asked to work tonight....so all's well that ends well. So, back on track: We'd decided to make up the lost time by seeing each other during the day, at my house. The plans came crashing about my head as I got a text from my mother saying "Flute lessons at two." Of course, I was itching to text him. I waited for a break, and sent a single text, then turning off my phone. We both were...RATHER...upset. When I got home, and revived my phone, the screen read 3 new messages. Two were from Aidan, one from my mother. "Christina is sick. Lessons canceled." I couldn't believe my luck...And called Aidan.
A: SO. What you do want to do?
R: Whatever you want, babe.
A:...
R: Can we go swimming?
A: Calling James (friend with pool)
It seemed like a great idea. At the time. :P

James agreed that we should swim. So I ran upstairs, changed, and was leaving to pick Aidan (My nanny as the driver) up, as he called with a morose voice.
A:Don't leave your house. The pool doesn't open until 4 today.
R:.... ARE YOU EFFING ME?!?!?
A: I'm so sorry...
R:Its okay..... Can I call you back?
A:...Yea...
I asked my nanny, Jennifer, if it was okay if he came over...He did. In a swim suit (we were still going to swim at 4)

We accomplished one thing, for sure. CHESS. But...didn't finish it, so it can't be crossed off the list. :(

Jennifer (yelling): Guys! its 4!!
A&R: Really??!?

It was...interesting...

We drove to his pool, meeting him outside. By now...it was COLD. I suspected the water to be cold, but as I dipped a foot in, I discovered that it was warmer than my racing or practice pools. Not that that is hard to accomplish...but anyhow....It...was FUN. James is a goof. Anywho. There were three girls there that when to Middle school with us, and were...less than nice to me. We avoided them. It seemed so ironic. I had been so vastly disliked, and now...I was dating the cream-of-the-crop. I suffered many a jealous stare, but ignored them, preferring rather to spend the time splashing Aidan. (His view should be funny.)

It seemed daring to kiss him at the pool.....but we did, anyway...:p

He decided to walk me home...and in the process cut open his foot....i feel terrible.

All in all, even shivering as I walked home, and learning that Aidan CAN'T SWIM OR DIVE WELL, I had fun....Can't believe that I have him...I don't deserve it...
~For now, Regan.

To Do List-Never Finished.

Play around in the rain like little kids.

Play a serious game of chess (best 2 out of 3).

Get Aidan on a bike.

Teach Aidan how to cook at least one dish.

An unplanned event: He said

Aidan here! Still slightly winded. But here we go. :)

Memorial Day. A day of seeing the family and...well, memorializing. Hence, no seeing my favorite girl in the whole world. Nothing but sitting inside all day lost in stagnation (I over-use that word, by the way). Call me what you will, but this made me upset. I HAD to be doing something. So, with football season approaching, what better activity to do than getting immersed in the joy of running? I presented the idea to Regan, and as fate would have it, she was going to go biking. And, say I was running the opposite direction she was biking, we just might coincidentally meet each other. So I told my mother, at least. With this magnificent plot in mind, I quickly got ready (including taking my inhaler...icky asthma), and off I went.

I was about a third of the way through the trail when I saw her amongst a crowd of walk/bikers. As always, I was amazed. Decked out in all of her biking gear, she looked like an angel on a mission. I chuckled to myself as I embraced her in a hug, followed quickly by a kiss (we were only slightly sweaty at this point).
Where to? Obviously, this was the question on both our lips.
Wherever you want, babe. This unanimous answer was shared by both of us.
After much deliberation that really didn't solve anything, we decided to travel back the way I went.
I'm not sure how much the readers out there know about running speed versus biking speed, but there's a rather significant difference. She went slow, but I still had to quicken my pace to keep up (obviously, I didn't tell her this).
And so we went, an odd couple of athletes, one on bike and one on legs, traveling throughout the beautiful scenery.
Soon enough, we reached the beginning of the trail we were traversing, with a slightly bitter feeling of an adventure cut short.
A: Do you want to turn around and go the other way?
R: Sure!
It was at this point in which I started to get slightly uncomfortable.
I would feel so free running without this shirt on... I thought aloud.
Oh, I don't mind.
Feeling surprisingly free from awkwardness at this gesture, I stuffed my shirt into my pocket, and we continued our journey.
Running/Biking all the way to the other side of the trail (this is where I normally end my run), we had to figure out where to go.
A: Let's go to your house!
R: Sounds good!
At this point, we were out of the woods and onto the streets. We kept a pretty even pace, and I felt my chest tighten slightly, but nothing beyond my ability to handle.
To my extreme disliking, as we were going up a very steep hill, Regan fell. And injured herself in the process (needless to say, I felt horrible). Thus, it was just logical to acquire a disinfectant when we arrived at her house, which we soon did.
My heart was racing at this point (about as much as when we kiss), but we were far from done. Dinner was about to start at my house, and that was quite a ways away. So we naturally stepped our intensity up a few notches. This was practically nothing for her...I was jealous.
I did have my secrets too, however. I secretly saved a little energy for the last stretch of the road to my house. Slowly accelerating every block, it wasn't long before I was breaking into a dead sprint, my chest tight but my heart soaring. I could hear Regan's shouts from behind me but they weren't audible.

Then it came down. We reached my house. The adventure was over.
A mixed amount of feelings. Slight pride in finishing strong, extreme sadness in the fact that it was time for us to seperate, and obviously an intense amount of focus on not fainting. This was exponentially more difficult when we closed in for a kiss. It's hard to think anyways when that happens. :P
I love you Aidan.
I love you too Regan.
And off she went. With a promise to see me again soon.
It's the little, spontaneous things that make life worth living.
-With everything I have, Aidan.

An unplanned event: She said

Hey! It's Regan. We weren't really planning for anything to happen today (memorial day) but...fate has a way of making itself known. Aidan (over Facebook) So eloquently stated that he was in a weird mood because "Being stagnant makes me in a weird mood". I suggested that he go for a run. As it ends up, I needed a bike ride (I do a tour every summer), so as soon as he set off I did as well. As it may be easily guessed, we "ran" in to each other on the trail. He decided to run with me. I slowed down, to keep speed (But it think he was going faster than normal). Lemme just say, it had to look funny. A professionally clothed biker, riding with a runner at a slow speed. Haha.

When we met, We both agreed to go where the other wanted, agreeing finally on going where he came from. When we stopped, she thought aloud "I would feel better with out my shirt" i said it would be okay (OF COURSE IT WAS....Gosh) Then we turned around, and kept going. I knew i was going too fast.....

We went all the way around a trail, to my house to disinfect a crash wound, then to his house. I had previously shown off, riding at my Half-speed. I should have guessed that he would show off, as well. When we were almost to his house, he decided to go up to his fastest speed. Yelling over his shoulder "50%! 60% 70%..." until he got to 100%. (Note: Aidan is asthmatic) I had to bike at my top speed to stay up with him....I was yelling for him to stop...he didn't hear me...When he got to his house, he all but passed out. Of course, Aidan's strict mother had to peek her head out the door and yell "Aidan! are you alright?" It didn't help that he couldn't respond... I knew that he was about to pass out...But of course...I couldn't do ANYTHING.

All's well that ends well...which it did. With a hug and a kiss from a very sweaty Aidan, and his sister yelling for him to "Get his tushy inside to eat!"

I biked back to my house, and here I am. All grease covered and icky. (My bike conveniently lost the chain twice on the ride.)
~For now, Regan.
P.S, That was fun...

Disagreement./First Idea

Frozen food+Canned food=/=Cooking, Aidan.

My first idea for the summer? Play around in the rain like little kids.

Things about Regan that she won't admit are true.

So, just wanted to start off by saying that I CAN cook! I'm just limited to instant lunch and spaghettios. :P

But seriously. Regan is.....just wow. No words could fully and eloquently describe how I feel about her, how she truly is. But I'll try.
You don't need to do much to notice her first perfection: her looks. Whenever or wherever we meet, the moment she looks at me with those stunning, everchanging eyes, my heart skips and my thoughts vanish. The adreniline burst I feel when she flashes that pearly smile is like diving into an ice cold ocean, in the best possible way. I don't know how someone with looks like hers ended up with me, but I'll never stop being grateful for it. I could go on and on about it...but it would be a crime to look past all the other facets of this beautiful diamond.

Whether she says so or not, she really is exponentially intelligent, moreso than me in many aspects. Although her spelling isn't as flawless as her complexion, the depth and the brilliance of the ideas flowing around in that vast mind of hers never ceases to amaze me. We could talk about anything we so choose, over any subject, and wouldn't skip a beat. I love it.

However, now we move on to one of the things I love the most about Regan: her emotions. Her sheer, unadulterated willingness to feel all that is to be felt in life really sets her apart from the rest of the girls, the girls apathetically turning away from their hearts are telling them, preferring instead the ideals of society. She isn't afraid to love, to truly love with all her heart and every ounce of her soul. Many call it naivete, others disregard it as a refusal to accept the bitter taste of reality. But I know, without a doubt, that it's the only true way to live: with the heart instead of the cold, numb mind.

Closely related to this is her uncanny caring for others. I'm shocked at the painstaking lengths to make sure that my feelings are all in check, that I'm completely okay. With everything going on in her life, it would be so easy to drop her extreme vigilance for me, but she refuses to do so. I know she has a heart the size of Mt. Everest, and it's something the world could use in greater amounts.

So...there you have it folks. Internally and externally, Regan is more than I've ever wished for. Whatever fates brought us together have my thanks, always and forever. Because Regan is the love of my life.
Forever we'll be, you and me.
-With everything I have, Aidan.

Things you need to know about Aidan that he'll NEVER tell you

Hey! Its Regan...again. More about Aidan. Well, as he's said, he's tall. 6 feet....A full foot taller than myself. He has stunning eyes....they change colors. When he's angry/sad they are deep brown...I almost never see that. I mainly see them a brilliant blue, rimmed with gray. The inside, closest to the pupil, is ALWAYS a tawny brown. He's got....the LONGEST eyelashes...and amazingly curly deep brown hair... He'll never say anything about it, but he's sorta (Understatement) buff. Lets just say he benches twice my weight, and leave it to you to guess what I weigh.
Academically inclined doesn't even begin to cover it, Aidan! He's a genius. Ha ha. Like...National Science fair...Really smart. He spells WAY better than me...and...texts like a madman!

Aidan is the guy that I looked at during summer '07, wishing I could have a guy like him. Sadly, both of us were dating. Me longer than him. I never thought it possible for someone as simple as me to end up with someone as amazing as him. Not until he sat there next to me, or rather... as layed under the stars, getting ready to ask me out.

He's been compared to Adonis. But not by me, originally. I agree, though. He's so caring. I think he's crazy...because I am no where as good as he thinks I am (Yes, Babe, glare at me all you want), but I go with it. I really don't deserve his kindness. Like..for example... we were running around all day at an interactive museum. I got totally worn out...and then it ended up that we had to share my mother's small car with TWO other people. So we were SQUISHED. I ended leaning against him, and falling asleep. From what I hear, he made sure that I was able to sleep soundly. Then, when we got back to my house, he let me fall asleep in his arms on the couch, AGAIN. I SO don't deserve that.

But anyhow. Aidan...He's basically the man that everyone wants. He's really protective, and tries to make sure I am always okay. Which...is really really hard. I'm a slight...Klutz. But I love him. He's the guy who everyone thinks is perfect. He'll never admit that he is. But he really is. Oh!!!

He can't cook.

~For now, Regan.
Ps, I might add more later =p

Introduction: He Said

So I suppose it's my turn now! This is Aidan. The boy completely and undeniably in love with the angel we know as Regan.
Anywho, as she's already covered, this is the chronicle of our summer, in the making. I know we're going to have a blast, and this is our way of making sure it's not all just a dream.

About me? Let's see...nothing out of the ordinary (I can just imagine her glaring at me for saying that one). 6 feet tall and growing, plays football, is on drumline, academically...inclined, and is one of the most emotional boys you'll ever meet, for better or for worse. I enjoy running, playing guitar hero, writing poetry...basically anything. But above all, I'd give it all up just for another chance to see her breath-taking smile. You really have no idea. Brilliant, gorgeous, caring...you won't find another girl anywhere near as perfect as Regan. Ever.

I think that wraps it up for my first entry. Be sure to keep in touch.
The sky's the limit, and we're about to take off.
-Aidan

Introduction: She said

Hey! Regan here. Generally when I post, you'll see this font this color, to differ from Aidan's posts. We decided, after an idea contribution from my mother, to start a blog. The main idea was to have a place to list all the things that we wanted to do over the summer, check them off as they come, and write a he said/she said about them. And thus, this blog was born. Now. About the name? Well. If you've read Romeo and Juliet, you understand.

Now. For a little about me. My names Regan, I'm fully grown at 5' tall, and proudly beach blond. I don't do much: Play flute, was on StuCo, and swam. And of course tried to find every moment possible to spend with Aidan. Aidan...what a wonderful person. About him? Well. Lets just say he's amazing.... Kind, caring, helpful. Handsome. Everything you could ask for, and more....
~For now, Regan.
